The Cleveland Current is a weekly newspaper published on Sunday mornings and is delivered to subscribers in Cleveland and Bolivar County, Mississippi. The Current's e-newsletter, The Bolivar Bullet, is distributed daily.
Begun in March of 2009, the Current is published and owned by Scott Coopwood, a seventh generation Mississippian and a fifth generation Bolivar Countian.
The Cleveland Current is the only newspaper in Bolivar County that is locally owned.
